Career preparation can’t be static. It can’t wait until you are about to graduate. And whatever you assumed about the job market when you started college, it’s not the same today. That’s why Career Services is one of the 45 initiatives in TCU’s Lead On: Values in Action strategic plan and an important example of how strategy turns into impact.

Last January, we officially launched LEAD ON: Values in Action, TCU’s strategic plan, with a campus-wide kickoff and a simple message: now the real work begins.

As we embark on the new Lead On: Values in Action Strategic Plan, continued teaching excellence will be critical to achieving TCU’s goals.

Innovation at TCU is no longer an idea — it’s a network. Launching this fall, the TCU Innovation Network connects students, faculty, industry, and the community through workshops, master classes, competitions, and corporate innovation weeks. From entrepreneurial journeys to cutting-edge technologies, this series of programs will fuel creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration across campus and North Texas.

Corporate and brand partnerships are multidimensional and critically important to the success of modern universities. Fort Worth and, further, North Texas are home to a robust and diverse corporate landscape — from global headquarters to startups. TCU’s strong academic programs and high-impact student experiences make us a valuable partner for companies seeking talent, insight, and innovation.

TCU’s LEAD ON: Values in Action Strategic Plan sets four bold 2035 targets—growing its student body to 20,000, increasing research spending by 10% annually, winning 30 championships, and deepening community partnerships—and launches in FY26 with concrete milestones like enrolling 2,850 freshmen, boosting research expenditures to $28 million, and breaking ground on new facilities and programs to accelerate student success, innovation, and engagement.

The Community Engagement Pillar at TCU strengthens partnerships with Fort Worth and North Texas through innovation, collaboration, and strategic initiatives that enhance academic, research, and community-focused opportunities.
