From Initiative to Impact: Career Services in Action

Career preparation can’t be static. It can’t wait until you are about to graduate. And whatever you assumed about the job market when you started college, it’s not the same today. That’s why Career Services is one of the 45 initiatives in TCU’s Lead On: Values in Action strategic plan and an important example of how strategy turns into impact.

Last January, we officially launched LEAD ON: Values in Action, TCU’s strategic plan, with a campus-wide kickoff and a simple message: now the real work begins.

What's Next for FY26?

TCU’s LEAD ON: Values in Action Strategic Plan sets four bold 2035 targets—growing its student body to 20,000, increasing research spending by 10% annually, winning 30 championships, and deepening community partnerships—and launches in FY26 with concrete milestones like enrolling 2,850 freshmen, boosting research expenditures to $28 million, and breaking ground on new facilities and programs to accelerate student success, innovation, and engagement.
